Hours: Part-time 0.5/ 0.6 ( either mornings or 3 full days )

We are looking for a Key Stage One to start in September 2026. We are a growing school and require more staff to add to our amazing and successful team. The new staff member will work with us on a part-time basis at 0.5 or 0.6, this will be flexible for the right candidate. This post is initially fixed-term but may become permanent if school numbers continue to increase.

Kells is a growing Nursery and Infants school with strong links to its community. We work closely with our local Junior School, Monkwray Juniors. We have large open-plan classrooms and extensive grounds for outdoor learning. The school is well-resourced and supported by its vibrant community.

We are looking for a: -

•    Qualified teacher with QTS
•    Teacher who is keen to work as part of a team and share ideas and good practice
•    Has experience in Read, Write Inc and White Rose Maths
•    Would be willing to lead a subject area within school
•    A passion for raising the achievement of all children
•    Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behavior 
•    Be effective communicators with staff, parents and children
•    Provide and maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes children’s learning
•    Be willing to contribute to our programme of extra-curricular activities
