Kitchen Assistant OP3 (Level 2) £25,583 pro rata (term time only plus 1 week INSET) plus living wage supplement £13.26 per hour. Monday – Friday 9.30am – 1.30pm 4 hours per day, 20 hours per week. Permanent.

Bridekirk Dovenby Board of Governors are seeking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant, who will assist the Kitchen Team Leader with the preparation, service and clean-up of our inhouse school dinner provision.

The main duties of this position are basic food preparation, setting up the dining hall and trolleys for food service, washing up and cleaning. The Kitchen Assistant will be provided with all relevant training to allow them to fulfill this position.

Applicants must have relevant experience and qualifications i.e. NVQ 2 or equivalent experience working in a food service environment. They will hold a Food Hygiene certificate and have experience of working effectively in a team role.
