General Synopsis
Occluded frontal system will cross the UK during today, with troughs of low pressure developing astern. The main Occluded front cleared Cumberland during the morning with periods of slight rainfall/showers on it's passage. The troughs of low pressure will then induce a further showery regime for Cumberland. Saturday is very much a day of sunshine and showers, showers will be on the whole light and isolated, and mainly into the afternoon.RSTs fall below zero in many places from this evening into Saturday morning with a risk of ice and hoar frost. WSW'ly winds have eased and continue to ease during the period and become light to moderate <25mph , although gusty at times around showers. Visibility is mainly good.
