The Nelson Thomlinson School is a high performing secondary school on the fringe of the Lake District in Cumbria, serving the needs of the small town of Wigton and its surrounding catchment area.

We are looking to appoint a qualified and experienced practitioner to join the SEND team. The person will support the Learning Support Department with the SEND agenda working with colleagues and external agencies when required.

This will involve work with the pastoral team and Learning Support Department to help support the increasing number of pupils with SEN.

The post holder will be required to become a designated safeguarding person.
