The dominant feature for the UK continues to be the Azores High, that is extending ridge conditions across the country. Weak frontal systems mainly decay under the influence of the high pressure.
RSTs remain above zero, with a minimum around 1.7 C in Pennines Central. A brief spell of light rain on Wednesday evening. WNW’ly winds. Maximum sustained wind speeds of 13–18 mph, highest in Coastal South. Visibility generally good, except in Pennines South where some reduction is possible Wednesday evening.
