Kitchen Team Member

Start date in September or as soon as possible

Wigton Nursery and Infant School is a friendly and vibrant school. The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic kitchen team member to join the kitchen team to support smooth service during lunchtimes.

Hours:     11.30am – 1.30 pm Monday to Friday term time only (10 hours per week)  Permanent - part time 

Salary:   OP1 (FTE salary £24, 413 pro rata,  (plus the living wage supplement £13.45 per hour)

The successful candidates will:

•    Be willing to undertake relevant training when required and ideally have experience of working in a busy kitchen
•    Have good organisation skills
•    Have good communication skills both with adults and children

Shortlisted candidates will be expected to complete a safeguarding declaration form.

The successful applicant will be subject to appropriate checks and undertake an enhanced DBS and, where appropriate to the post, a requirement to complete a Childcare Disqualification declaration.
