We are seeking to appoint a caring, friendly teacher.  This is a part time, temporary position, to cover a maternity leave.  Gilsland is a small school with a big heart.  Our children work together to support each other to be the very best that they can be.  They are creative and inquisitive and a joy to teach.

We are looking for someone who:
•    Is experienced in teaching pupils across the primary stage (including children with SEND)
•    Is keen to work in a small, family school
•    Is kind, enthusiastic and loves working with children
•    Has high expectations and inspires children and staff to have high expectations of themselves
•    Has excellent classroom and time management skills
•    Is able to secure good behaviour and establish an effective learning environment
•    Is able to develop good relationships with parents, carers and the wider community
•    Understands the Christian ethos of the school
•    Is flexible and always puts the children at the heart of everything they do.
