Teaching Assistant & Midday Supervisor (permanent)
5B (£25,989) & 3B (£25,185) respectively (part time, pro rata)
Crosby on Eden CEP School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated Teaching Assistant to join our thriving Church School. The successful applicant will work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday 8.45am to 12noon (term time, plus 5 INSET days) 16.25 hours per week. This position is primarily in lower Key Stage 2.
In addition, the successful candidates will be required to undertake daily Midday Supervision duties, in addition to their contracted hours, paid at 3B rate (5 hours per week, term time only) Monday to Friday. Further information will be given on this at the interview stage.
We are looking for highly motivated Teaching Assistant who has:
• experience of working in a primary school
• experience of working with children with a range of abilities/needs
• a genuine passion for working with children
• initiative and ability work both independently and collaboratively
• a commitment to continued CPD
• at least an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in the relevant subject and have a grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
