25–37 hours per week (Term Time + 1 INSET week)

Due to the continued growth and expansion of our wonderful maintained nursery school, Cleator Moor Nursery School is delighted to invite applications for a passionate and dedicated Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner/Keyworker to join our exceptional team.

The Role
We are flexible in our approach and are able to offer between 25 and 37 hours per week for the right candidate. Additional overtime opportunities may also be available.

As a Keyworker, you will:
•    Build positive and nurturing relationships with children and families.
•    Support children’s learning and development through high-quality interactions and play.
•    Create an inclusive, stimulating, and enabling environment.
•    Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional Early Years provision.
•    Contribute to the continued success and development of our nursery school.

We are looking for someone who:
•    Holds an NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years.
•    Has GCSE Mathematics and English (or equivalent).
•    Is passionate about Early Years education and child development.
•    Demonstrates experience within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
•    Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Works effectively as part of a team.
•    Builds positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
•    Has high expectations for every child.
•    Shows initiative, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
•    Maintains a professional approach and shares our values and vision.
