£25,989 per annum pro rata. 
(£13,383 - £13,745 per annum)
Start date: September 2026
Temporary until 31st August 2027 based on need.

About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide support for children, including those with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils, supporting their academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social development within a nurturing classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
•    Provide targeted support to meet the needs of children, including close support for those with EHCPs
•    Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement personalised learning strategies
•    Support the pupil in accessing the curriculum and engaging in classroom activities
•    Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
•    Assist with adapting resources and tasks to meet individual needs
•    Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents where appropriate
•    Support transitions and daily routines to ensure consistency and stability

•    A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach
•    Experience supporting children with additional needs 
•    Strong communication and teamwork skills
•    Ability to build positive relationships with children
•    A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding
•    A calm and consistent approach to behaviour management
•    Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential
