Class Teacher (EYFS and Key Stage 1)

The children, staff and governors of Ennerdale and Kinniside Church of England Primary School are delighted to invite applications from an enthusiastic, inspiring and dedicated teacher to join our wonderful school community from January 2027. The role is full time, permanent. 

We are looking for an exceptional teacher to take a key role in our Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 class. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about giving young children the very best start to their education and who understands the importance of creating a nurturing, stimulating and joyful learning environment.

•    Is confident in planning and delivering learning both inside and outside the classroom, making the most of our school environment;
•    Understands the importance of developing the whole child, nurturing children's confidence, independence, wellbeing and resilience alongside their academic development;
•    Uses inclusive practice to ensure that children of all abilities and needs are supported to thrive;
•    Creates a warm, welcoming and stimulating classroom where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn;
•    Is reflective, enthusiastic and keen to contribute positively to our school community;
•    Is flexible and willing to share their strengths, ideas and enthusiasm across the wider school.
