Cumberland Council is undertaking a statutory consultation and advertisement following the informal consultation held in December 2025.
The council is seeking formal comments on proposed changes to the TRO required to support planned improvement works on Crosthwaite Road, Keswick. These works include installing a new pedestrian island, constructing a short section of new footway and delivering wider measures to enhance pedestrian safety.
This statutory consultation provides residents and stakeholders with a further opportunity to comment before the final decision is made.
