Whitehaven and surrounding area Traffic Regulation Order review

Cumberland Council proposes to make a Traffic Regulation Order for roads in Whitehaven and surrounding areas.

The proposals include:

• new no waiting at any time restrictions on parts of Lowther Street and Rutland Avenue
• new no loading or unloading at any time restrictions on parts of Lowther Street
• changes to existing no waiting at any time restrictions on parts of Preston Street and Foxhouses Road
• removal of the motor vehicle prohibition on James Street when the market is held
