Scoping consultation
Have your say on the preparation of the Cumberland Local Plan and how we engage with communities and stakeholders.
We are carrying out a scoping consultation to help shape the new Cumberland Local Plan, including a minerals and waste plan.
The consultation runs from 14 September 2026 to 23 October 2026.
We are seeking views on:
- matters that should be considered as part of preparing the Local Plan
- what the Local Plan should contain
- how we should engage with communities, organisations and stakeholders during the preparation of the Local Plan
