Warm Spots

A Warm Spot offers a warm, welcoming space for people to visit this winter if they need it. They are run by a range of different organisations including churches, village halls, local councils and libraries.

CA12 Community Socials- Tea and Chat (Drop-in Centre)

All 4 CA12 warm spots open specifically for the CA12 Community Socials- Tea and Chat sessions; all are held in community hall style environments, which have kitchen and toilet facilities, and where refreshments can be prepared and served.

Carlisle Youth Zone

CYZ Winter Warm Zone is for young people aged 7 - 18yrs (up to 24yrs with additional needs). Young people can now access our Youth Clubs free and receive a free hot meal and drink. Our Senior members (11yrs+) can also access our after school gym for free
A warm drink is available during every session and a free hot meal will also be provided during our Youth Clubs (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday).

Christ Church Cockermouth

Cosy Club is a warm space for parents / carers & toddlers to socialise. Activity equipment available. Juice / Tea / Coffee / Biscuits provided.

Churches Together Men's Breakfast

We have our own allocated room in the Carnegie. Usually the bar area. We average about 30 men. It's very chatty, very friendly!
We have coffee and tea when we arrive. A cooked breakfast is then ordered. It's all on a donation policy. This enables everyone to enjoy the morning, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Cockermouth Christian Centre

A warm and friendly welcome with complimentary. Complimentary warm drinks with biscuits refreshments.
Fairshare Food pantry every 2nd and 4th Friday
