Food, drink, crafts and gifts, family fun and live music – it’s all going on at Taste Cumbria in Wigton this Saturday, 25 April.

The Teenage Market will return to Carlisle city centre this Saturday (28 March), bringing a vibrant showcase of young entrepreneurial talent and live performances to the heart of the city.

The 2026 Taste Cumbria season is about to kick off with the first festival of the year in Wigton. It takes place in the heart of the town on Saturday 25 April and there’s loads of free entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

Carlisle city centre is gearing up for the much anticipated return of the Carlisle International Market, an open air shopping and food experience that draws thousands of visitors each year. The open-air event will be held in Carlisle city centre between Thursday 2 and Monday 6 April.

Carlisle’s city centre will be filled with creativity, ambition and live entertainment when the Teenage Market returns on Saturday 28 March 2026.

The Taste Cumbria food festivals brought around £6 million into the Cumberland economy last year and now plans are being made for the 2026 events.

On the build up to this year’s Small Business Saturday (6 December), Cumberland Council is encouraging residents to shop local and support local businesses.

Cockermouth will be full of festive cheer this weekend as the Taste Cumbria Christmas festival returns to the town. Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December are the dates for this year’s sparkling extravaganza and the festival is completely free to attend.

Bigger and even better - Taste Cumbria is coming back to Carlisle for the second time this Autumn. Following the success of the first event in 2024, the city will play host to the county’s favourite food and drink festivals on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 November 2025.

Carlisle’s city centre will once again come alive with creativity and entrepreneurial spirit as the Teenage Market returns on Saturday 11 October.
