RST's remain above Zero.Some periods of heavier rain today , easing into late afternoon. SW'ly Winds largely light to moderate which will gust >25mph at times. Hill fog for most high ground areas.

Summary
Complex low pressure system, south of Greenland and Iceland will track across the Atlantic and continue to fill. A series of frontal associated systems will be driven over the UK in the forecast period. An active frontal system will cross the local Cumberland area during the morning, affecting the coastal areas first, before clearing mid afternoon from all forecast areas, initial moderate rain fall will then turn to a more occasional showery regime. SSW'ly winds will remain largely light but gusts at times >25mph on frontal passage. A prolonged spell of more heavier rain is forecast from Tuesday. Risk of hill fog over the higher ground throughout. Turning cooler by the end of the period with a risk of frost in the early hours from Tuesday.
