Clear skies this afternoon with road surface temperatures rising above freezing around midday before falling back below zero by mid-afternoon. Exceptionally cold conditions developing overnight with RSTs plummeting to -9.6°C by tomorrow morning. Road conditions will deteriorate significantly with the probability of icy, slushy and wet surfaces developing. Grip will reduce dramatically to levels of 0.23 by tomorrow morning at 08:00 on untreated roads. Light to moderate northwesterly winds up to 7 m/s. Clear skies will persist, allowing for severe radiational cooling and widespread ice formation.
