General Synopsis
Cumberland remains under the influence of a north-east Atlantic depression with two centres, one of which will cross the British Isles from south-east to north-west. The depression will lose its identity by Sunday morning; however, Cumberland will remain within a trough on the eastern periphery of another depression.
RSTs above zero throughout, minimum 2.4 C in Pennines Central. Light rain, locally moderate, is expected from late Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. A brief lull is likely later in the morning, before rain returns during Sunday afternoon. On Sunday, winds will veer from easterly to south-easterly. Sustained speeds 2-15 mph, maximim in Coastal South. Visibility will be reduced in Northern/Southern Pennines and the Lakes West.
