Cumberland lies within a trough on the eastern periphery of a deep, extensive depression covering much of the North Atlantic. On Monday afternoon, a secondary centre
of this depression will approach the south-west of the British Isles, bringing a frontal passage.

RSTs above zero, minimum 1.9-2 C in Lakes East and Pennines Central. Intermittent light rain. Maximum sustained wind speeds 16 mph in Coastal South and 9-12 mph
elsewhere. Visibility will be good.
