Forecast issued at 12:00 on 12th February 2026. Snow is expected to develop this afternoon and evening, with accumulations of up to 7.5 cm possible on high ground, and is forecast to start around 19:00. Overcast conditions will persist throughout, drizzle may precede the snow from around 17:00. Roads will become wet and slushy initially, then increasingly icy. RSTs will drop below zero through night in some areas and widely tomorrow morning, reaching a minimum of -0.8°C by 08:00. Surface grip will be severely reduced on untreated roads so caution is advised. Moderate easterly winds of up to 10 m/s. RSTs expected to rise above zero by 10:30 tomorrow.
