General Synopsis
Low pressure moves east across Iceland today, where it then stalls. A further Atlantic low will move quickly eastwards and deepen, expected to lie over the UK–Iceland Gap later on Tuesday, with its associated front reaching Ireland by Tuesday evening. RSTs remain above zero. Periods of light rain are expected today. S–SSW winds of 1–7 mph will increase to 17–22 mph on Tuesday with gusts 37-41mph . Visibility reduced at times in hill fog and low cloud, otherwise mostly good.
