General Synopsis
The Azores high continues to allow ridge conditions across the UK today. Low pressure over Greenland remains stationary with a deepening Low Mid Atlantic which will track East during today with it’s associated frontal systems, will impact Cumberland from later this evening and early hours of Friday before clearing East over Friday morning. A dry and bright Start today but feeling chilly at first this morning. Light and variable, mainly SSW’ly winds, these will increase into this evening as the front approaches Cumberland. and veer W’ly into tomorrow but <25mph. The rain on arrival will be moderate but at times heavy over the higher ground. Some frequent showers on the back edge of the front for Friday.Good visibility initially will reduce moderate , at times poor tonight into tomorrow morning in any heavier rain and low cloud for high ground, <1km. RST's remain above zero.
