Apply for white 'H' bar keep clear road markings

How to apply and pay for a white H-bar keep clear road marking.

About H-bar keep clear road markings

H-bars are white markings which you can have painted across your driveway to deter people from parking there.

They are painted on the road as a solid white line with short bars on either end.

H-bar markings are designed to make other motorists aware that there is a driveway or dropped kerb that they should not park in front of or obstruct.

There is a charge for this service, which is currently £224.40.

The marking is advisory only and any issues with obstruction can't be enforced by the Council’s Parking Services team.
