About H-bar keep clear road markings
H-bars are white markings which you can have painted across your driveway to deter people from parking there.
They are painted on the road as a solid white line with short bars on either end.
H-bar markings are designed to make other motorists aware that there is a driveway or dropped kerb that they should not park in front of or obstruct.
The marking is advisory only. Any issues with obstruction cannot be enforced by the Council’s Parking Services team.
