Integrated Impact Assessment scoping consultation
The Integrated Impact Assessment helps make sure emerging policies in the Cumberland Local Plan support sustainable development across the plan area.
It also helps us meet legal requirements for Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and considers health, equality and climate change impacts.
We are currently consulting on the Integrated Impact Assessment Scoping Report.

Landscape character assessment
The Cumbria Landscape Character Assessment describes the character of different landscape types across the county. It provides guidance to help maintain their distinctiveness and informs spatial planning and development management in Cumbria.
