Health and safety at work

Inspecting commercial premises and giving health and safety advice to help businesses follow the law.

Cooling towers

By law you must register a cooling tower or an evaporative condenser with us.

This helps us to:

  • identify potential areas that could spread infectious diseases such as legionella
  • make sure preventative measures are being taken to eliminate the risk of infection to employees and the public

Visit the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) website for guidance on Evaporative cooling systems.

How to register

Complete the registration form and return it to us.
