You do not need to be sleeping on the streets to get help. You may be homeless if you do not have somewhere safe or suitable to stay.

When to contact us

Contact us as soon as possible if you think you might become homeless.

This includes situations where you:

  • have been asked to leave your home
  • are at risk of eviction
  • are staying with friends or family and cannot stay there long term
  • are living somewhere that is not safe or suitable, including risk of violence or abuse
  • are not able to afford your housing
  • are living somewhere unsuitable because of a medical condition or disability
  • are being locked out or illegally evicted

If you are likely to lose your home within the next 56 days, we can work with you to help prevent you from becoming homeless.
