Help if you are homeless or at risk

Get help if you are homeless or at risk and understand what support we can provide.

What to bring to your housing appointment

You may be asked to bring the following, depending on your circumstances:

  • proof of identity for everyone in your household
  • your tenancy agreement
  • a notice from your landlord or court papers
  • proof of income or benefits
  • proof of pregnancy, if relevant
  • marriage or divorce documents, if relevant
  • documents relating to the sale of a property
  • details of your current housing situation

Bringing the right information can help us assess your situation more quickly. We may ask for additional information depending on your situation.

How we use your information

We will use the information you provide to:

  • check your housing situation
  • verify your circumstances
  • decide what duty we owe you

We may contact other organisations or professionals to support our assessment.
