Please note that the following temporary treatment changes due to the roadworks associated with the new Carlisle Southern Link Road. 

The C1036 is closed south of Durdar Crossroads (The Black Lion) – the C1036 is not currently being treated for approximately 850 metres between Durdar Crossroads and Durdar House at Junction with U1156.


All signed diversion routes for both of these closures will also be treated during the period of the above closures.

Wednesday 29th October

Forecast: RST's remain above Zero, but fall to Zero/+1 in Lakes East and Pennines Central, low risk of a hoar frost in both areas. Rainfall 0.5-2mm at times for all areas becoming slight into Thursday. Gusty WSW'ly winds, occasionally SE'ly Risk of mist in Pennines early hours Thursday.
