Forecast: Headline 1200 Update: RST's and Air temperatures above zero. Visibility reducing in fog tonight. Light and variable winds. No frost or ice. Confidence High General Synopsis Low pressure North of The Wash will track E’ly to be centered in the North Sea by Midnight allowing a weak occluded frontal system to cross over Northern portions of the UK, weakened by the recent area of High pressure that slowly declines today as it moves E'ly, and does mainly not impact Cumberland, Mid Atlantic Low pressure systems move in from the WSW by the end of the period but not to impact Cumberland in this forecasts validity. Winds will be light and variable and not significant throughout, turning more E'ly into Monday but remaining light in the slack pressure gradient, <3-10mph, some very isolated gusts at times but <20mph . Some spells of slight, occasionally slight to moderate rain/showers today into the early to late afternoon, but no more than 0.1 to 0.7mm per hour in isolated bursts, moderate rainfall confined to the Lake District and Pennines South. Periods of fog and mist, some dense at times are slowly clearing into the early afternoon, with temporary improvements to good, then mist and fog will reform later today into tomorrow to reduce the visibility to at times <100-300 for all forecast regions under clear skies and again be slow to clear into tomorrow morning. Air Temperatures and RST's remain above zero in the forecast period with no Ice or hoar frost risk forecasted.
