How to apply for a personal licence
Your application must include:
- a disclosure of convictions and declaration form - GOV.UK
- 2 passport photos signed by an approved professional
- a criminal conviction certificate issued less than one month before applying for your personal licence – request a basic DBS check on GOV.UK
- a copy of your accredited course certificate - Accredited qualification providers: personal licence to sell alcohol on GOV.UK
- proof of right to work in the UK
When submitting evidence of your right to work in the UK, this would normally be a photocopy of your UK passport. If you do not have a passport, there is a selection of other documents that will be accepted.
