Costs and fees for premises licence
The fee for a new premises licence or to vary an existing one is based on the non-domestic (business) rateable value of the premises.
To work out your rateable value, visit Find a business rates valuation on GOV.UK
| Band | Rateable value | Application fee | Annual fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| A | None to £4,300 | £100 | £70 |
| B | £4,301 to £33,000 | £190 | £180 |
| C | £33,001 to £87,000 | £315 | £295 |
| D | £87,001 to £125,000 | £450 | £320 |
| E | £125,001 and above | £635 | £350 |
A higher rate (called a multiplier) may apply to premises in bands D and E that are mainly or exclusively in the business of selling alcohol — typically large pubs in town and city centres. If your premises may be affected by a multiplier, contact us for more details.
