With primary school places announced this week families are being urged to seek support to help with toilet training in readiness for children starting school in September. ERIC, the Children’s Bowel and Bladder Charity are attending the Family Hub on the Harbour, Whitehaven first birthday celebration event tomorrow, 15 April, with their Wee and Poo mascots to help raise awareness of the support available to families who are toilet training.

We are really excited to welcome families to our upcoming Family Hub events over the next two weeks. The activities are free and promise lots of entertainment for all the family as well as a chance to learn more about the hubs and the support they offer.

The Cumberland SEND Partnership, comprised of Cumberland Council, local NHS and health organisations, and SEND Alliance Cumbria (SENDAC – Cumbria’s parent-carer forum), have launched their first Annual SEND Surveys since the partnership was established.
