Cleator Moor Nursery School are looking to employ a Permanent Level 3/4+ Early Years 
Practitioner to take the lead of our 2 Year Old Classroom.

To commence employment on 24th February 2025 or sooner if possible. 

Salary – PCD8i – PCD10i £31,067-£35,235 (Depending on experience and qualifications)

34 Hours per week, 39 weeks per year pro rata , term time  

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Cleator Moor Nursery School at a pivotal point on our school development journey. We are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Early Years Practitioner to lead our wonderful and thriving 2 Year Old 
Classroom.  

Key Tasks and Responsibilies:
•    Consistently deliver and plan rich learning opportunities taken from our sequenced and ambitious curriculum and provide exceptional care that helps all children to develop and meets their individual needs. 
•    Make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests and stages of development of our children.
•    Ensuring an enabling environment is providing consistent stimulating and inspiring activities for the children in both the indoor and outdoor areas.
•    Lead and inspire the team to deliver exceptional care and education and provide feedback to create a consistent approach of the best early years practice.
•    Ensure that British Values are incorporated and demonstrated through our Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.  
•    Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children in line with our child protection and keeping everyone safe policies and procedures.
•    Continually work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children ensuring a diverse and inclusive approach is maintained at all times.

The suitable candidate must have: 
•    NVQ Level 3+ or equivalent as a minimum and would be willing to undertake further professional development. 
•    GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English 

The successful candidate must also be able to: 
•    Work constructively as part of a team 
•    Liaise effectively with staff and parents 
•    Promote inclusion of all pupils within the Early Years classrooms 
•    Show initiative and hold high expectations for pupils 
•    Display a professional attitude at all times and desire to continue their professional development 
•    Demonstrate their experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage 
•    Have excellent communication skills

To commence on 6th January 2025

Crosby on Eden CEP School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and skilled Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our thriving Church School.  The successful applicant will work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday (term time, plus 5 INSET days), in the mornings (8.45am to 12.00noon).  The position is primarily in our EYFS class however, the successful candidate may be required to work with our KS1 children at the Headteacher’s discretion.  

TA: 16.25 hours per week at rate 5A
MDS: 5 hours per week at rate 3B

In addition, the successful candidates will be required to undertake daily Midday Supervision duties, in addition to their contracted hours, paid at 3B rate (1 hour per day, term time only).  Further information will be given on this at the interview stage.

We are looking for highly motivated EYFS Teaching Assistant who has:
•    experience of working in an Early Years Setting/Class 
•    experience of working with children with a range of abilities/needs
•    a genuine passion for working with children
•    initiative and ability work both independently and collaboratively
•    a commitment to continued CPD
•    at least an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in the relevant subject and have a grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
