The Tour de France Grand Départ will come to Cumberland in July 2027, bringing one of the world’s most recognised sporting events to the area and attracting large numbers of visitors.

There will be opportunities for businesses before, during and after the event as spectators travel to and through Cumberland.

Businesses may be able to benefit from increased visitor numbers and activity across the route. Opportunities may include:

Guidelines have been produced to help partners deliver communications that reflect the scale, heritage and prestige of the Tour de France as it travels through Scotland, Wales and England.

Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.) owns the Tour de France brand and intellectual property. All Tour de France Grand Départ branding must be used in line with the official guidelines.
