The Governors of Derwent Vale Primary & Nursery School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic,
passionate and highly motivated full time teacher to join the team at our successful school. The post is to lead and teach our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) class.

The successful candidate will:

Senior Teaching Assistant (STA)

Senior Teaching Assistant (STA) – Full Time - 32.5 hours per week. Temporary for 1 year initially (budget dependent)

PCD7 £29.540 (B) per annum , pro rata ,  term time plus 5 inset days

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive primary school team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SENDCO to support pupils across the school, helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where all children can thrive.
We are seeking someone who:
•    Has experience working within a primary school setting
•    Is committed to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
•    Has strong communication and teamwork skills
•    Can work independently and use initiative
•    Is calm, caring and adaptable
•    Has knowledge or experience of supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) — desirable

SENDCO

SENDCO (0.2 FTE – Flexible Working Days)

Required as soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated SENDCO to join our welcoming and supportive primary school team on a 0.2 FTE basis. Working days are flexible and can be discussed to suit the successful candidate and the needs of the school.

The successful applicant will:
•    Hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it)
•    Have proven experience leading SEND provision within a primary setting
•    Be passionate about ensuring every child achieves their full potential
•    Demonstrate strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
•    Work effectively with staff, parents, external agencies and pupils
•    Be organised, proactive and committed to inclusive practice
