About this
opportunity
Join us in transforming lives by inspiring
and supporting individuals to step forward and meet the needs of
children through adoption.
In this role, youll work closely with
social workers, adopters, adopted young people, and a range of
stakeholders to create powerful connections and encourage more
people to consider adoption. A key part of your mission will be
empowering adopters to become advocates for our service, helping
them take an active and visible role in local recruitment
efforts.
This is a unique opportunity to be at the
heart of an exciting transition as part of the councils current
hosted adoption service and the newly developing Regional
Adoption Agency. Operating across Cumberland and Westmorland and
Furness, youll lead impactful recruitment campaigns, build
strong relationships, and engage both internal and external
audiences.
Your expertise will shine in areas like
planning campaigns, fostering collaboration, internal and
external communications, managing media relations, and creative
use of the councils digital platforms. Additionally, youll
collaborate with regional and national marketing groups to share
resources and expand our reach.
An understanding of the evolving landscape
of adoption practices is essential, as we strive to better meet
the needs of children. As the driving force behind marketing and
branding for the new Regional Adoption Agency, your work will
play a pivotal role in shaping its identity and success.
If you're ready to lead with creativity,
empathy, and purpose, wed love to hear from you!
This role is available on a fixed-term
basis for 8 months.
