Crosby on Eden CEP School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our thriving Church School.  The successful applicant will work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday 8.45am to 3.30pm (term time, plus 5 INSET days).  This is a 1:1 position for a child with an EHCP, in Key Stage 1.

TA SEND: 28 hours 45 minutes per week at rate 5A rising to 5B 
MDS: 2 ½ hours per week at rate 3B

In addition, the successful candidates will be required to undertake daily Midday Supervision duties, in addition to their contracted hours, paid at 3B rate (1 hour per day, term time only).  Further information will be given on this at the interview stage.

Both positions are temporary, fixed term, until the child leaves school or the funding ceases.  

We are looking for highly motivated Teaching Assistant who has:
•    experience of working in an Early Years Setting/Class 
•    experience of working with children with a range of abilities/needs
•    a genuine passion for working with children
•    initiative and ability work both independently and collaboratively
•    a commitment to continued CPD
•    at least an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in the relevant subject and have a grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
