We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our experienced office team to start as soon as possible.

Responsible To: The Business Manager
Grade: Grade 6, Role Profile BS6 £16,701 - £16,968 (including holiday pay) Actual Salary dependant on service
Hours:  27.5 hours per week over 5 days
Weeks:        40 working weeks (Term time + 1 week inset + 1 week in summer holidays)

The successful candidate will exhibit good communication skills, accuracy and reliability.  You will be responsible for supporting the Business Manager in all financial undertakings.  Experience of working in a school is preferred but not essential if you have transferrable skills.  At Caldew we will provide you with personalised training and support to ensure your development.  We offer excellent continuous professional development, well-being support and resources to aid you in your role.

This is a busy and varied role and candidates should have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. Although advantageous, the post requires no previous experience of working in a school setting. Previous experience is desirable however full training will be provided for the right candidate.
