The Governors of Burgh by Sands School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our thriving school.  The successful applicant will work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday 8.45am to 3.30pm (term time, plus 5 INSET days).  This role is predominantly to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with an EHCP in Key Stage 1. The child will require full time support within the classroom, dining hall and during break times outside.  Part of the week will also involve supporting groups and individual pupils with EHCPs across Key Stage 2.

This is a fixed term position linked to the needs of specific pupils with an EHCP and the continuation of associated funding.
