10 Hours Per Week (39 WEEKS)
8.00AM - 8.45AM AND 3.15PM - 4.30PM
Monday - Friday

WRAP team members need to be enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated. This provision is open to all our pupils. This is a key role in providing a welcoming and safe environment for staff, students and visitors. Various shifts are available and this will be discussed further at interview.
The successful candidates will:

•     supervise the children’s drop off and collection to and from club
•     deliver planned activities
•     supervise primary aged pupils within WRAP Club environment
•     maintain WRAP club register
•     be familiar with the school’s Health & Safety Policy
•     encourage active play sessions by organising/managing play resources

We encourage applications from candidates with experience of working with primary aged pupils. Support and training will be given on how to apply this to a WRAP provision in a school setting.

Part time Senior Teaching Assistant (permanent position)

Working Hours: 20.5 hours per week
PCD7 £26,421 to £27,334 pro rata, term time (pay award pending) actual salary £12746 (38 term weeks plus 1 week Inset/closure)

The Governors of Black Combe School wish to appoint an experienced senior teaching assistant to join our established learning support team.  We are looking for someone committed to improving the outcomes for pupils by providing high quality support to our
learning environment. It is expected the successful candidate will be keen to embrace new challenges in supporting teaching and learning within the classroom and will take a full part in school life.

The successful candidate must be a highly motivated and dedicated practitioner who will attend to pupils’ individual needs and, under the direction of the teacher, deliver structured learning activity programmes in addition to providing support in the classroom in the absence of the teacher. You will be required to have the ability to use your own initiative when responding to the needs of individual pupils and to have excellent interpersonal skills.

The initial working pattern is given below, please note staff timetables can and do change from time to time dependent on the needs of the curriculum and cohort.

Monday 13:00 to 15:30 

Tuesday  8:45 to 12:15 - 13:00 to 15:30    

Thursday 8:45 to 12:15  -13:00 to 15:30

Friday 8:45 to 12:15 - 13:00 to 15:30
