We have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our growing, family school.  We are a tight knit school, where everyone works together putting our children at the heart of everything we do.  

We are seeking to appoint a caring, friendly teacher to work with our very small and eager EYFS/ KS1 class.  This is a part time position that offers the chance to work in a supportive and nurturing environment.

The Governors of Walton and Lees Hill CE Primary School are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in the governor led nursery at our friendly, rural school. This post is to start on Monday 23rd February or sooner until 17th July 2026 and will be 32.5 hours per week, over 5 days, 8.30am – 3.30pm with some scope for flexibility

The role is to support the learning and development of the children in our nursery, who are 2 & 3 year olds, by maintaining the stimulating indoor and outdoor learning spaces and helping children to develop positive routines, although this role is predominantly to work in our Nursery setting, there may be occasional requirement to work with KS1 &KS2.

This appointment is due to budgetary funding and pupil numbers.

Childcare Practitioner & Keyworker

Frizington Nursery School & Preschool are looking to employ 2 temporary Childcare Practitioners who are friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage and giving every child the best start to their Early Years education. The suitable candidate must have:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (or nearly at completion)
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English

The successful candidate must also be able to:

- Liaise effectively with staff and parents
- Promote inclusion of all pupils within the Early Years classrooms
- Show initiative and hold high expectations for pupils
- Display a professional attitude at all times and desire to continue their professional
development
