33.5 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week.
PCD7 (£27,711 - £28,624 FTE) pro rata

We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented and highly motivated Senior Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, dedicated and hard-working team in our successful school. The successful candidate will work with children across the school, both within the classroom environment and as a pastoral support.

The successful candidate will:
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Be highly motivated, organised and committed;
• Have a commitment to achieving high expectations, standards and excellent progress; ensuring maximum potential;
• Be experienced in supporting children across the primary age range;
• Has an interest and experience/knowledge in supporting pupils with SEND and in providing pastoral support;
• Relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent essential;
• Can work effectively as part of the team, with families, professionals and children, in our happy and successful school.

Teaching Assistant

Starting date: As soon as possible 

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. If you want to work in a supportive team, have the opportunity to progress your career and work with students that inspire us every day, then you are the one for us.

Our vacancy is for a TA to work 32.5 hours per week from 8:30am – 3:15pm + one meeting afterschool per week.  TAs work 38 weeks in term-time and 1 week during school closure per year.

The role involves supporting the learning of SEND pupils, including pupils with ASC, in or out of classrooms.  Pupils demonstrate a wide range of learning difficulties; you will work across the range, from pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans, with specific or severe learning difficulties, to pupils with minor or temporary access difficulties.  You may work extensively on a one-to-one basis or within a whole classroom setting.

Closing date: Midday, Friday 17th January 2025
Starting Salary:  £18938 pa (including holiday pay)
