Temporary Full Time Class Teacher  

Required from Monday 3rd June 2024 to Friday 28th March 2025  

Due to an experienced member of staff going on maternity leave, the governors of St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed, highly motivated, enthusiastic classroom practitioner to temporarily join our teaching team from 3rd June 2024.  For the successful candidate we can offer a happy, supportive environment with experienced colleagues who always put children first.

Midday Supervisor

·      Take responsibility for the pupils’ welfare, safety and supervision during the lunch break.
·      Encourage good behaviour amongst students.

Class Teacher for EYFS & KS1 Class

The Children, staff and governors of Lowca Community School are seeking to appoint a committed and inspirational teacher to join our family team. This is a permanent position starting from September 2024.

The person appointed will be required to work collaboratively with our Early Years team and lead planning across the unit alongside teaching children in Reception and KS1 ensuring effective curriculum delivery and behaviour expectations are consistent within the class. They will take on the responsibility of leading a subject and have the opportunity to fulfil wider roles throughout the school.

We are looking for someone who has:
• Excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management skills;
• High expectations of all pupils and is committed to creating a stimulating classroom environment;
• The ability to enthuse all children to learn and understands what is required to secure outstanding progress;
• A passion for education and is able to demonstrate consistently good and outstanding classroom practice;
• Excellent communication skills, including building relationships with parents and deploying staff effectively;
• The ability to inspire, motivate and work effectively in a team;
• Great creativity and knows how to support children to become independent, persevere with challenges and present their work to a high standard;
• The ability to support children of all abilities, through inclusive practice and a good understanding of supporting children with SEND
• Experience of the Early Years, National Curriculum and teaching in mixed aged classes (desirable)
