Cover Supervisor

Full Time Cover Supervisor 32.5 hours per week, term time

We are pleased to be recruiting a Full Time Cover Supervisor to join our school community to provide daily cover for lessons in the absence of teaching staff. Duties will include giving instructions for the lesson (these will be provided by the teacher), upholding high standards of behaviour in the classroom and ensuring pupils remain focused and on task.

 We are looking to appoint an individual who is self-directed, with good interpersonal and communication skills, confident in leading learning in the classroom, patient and who is committed to making a difference to the lives of young people. The ability to build and develop good relationships, be a positive role model, reinforce the values and ethos of the school and have a creative approach to problem solving is essential.

NVQ Level 2 or 3 equivalent, or knowledge or experience of the work area is desirable. You will also be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment with excellent attendance and punctuality. This is a key role within the school and the successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own.

Administrative Assistant

Due to relocation we have a vacancy for an Administrative Assistant to assist the Office Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy school office.  The successful candidate will have knowledge of the basic information required to working in an office environment.
We are seeking to appoint someone who works well as a member of a team, builds positive relationships with parents and contributes to the wider life of the school.

30 hours per week
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm

The post is term time only plus 1 week for INSET days.
