We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative teacher to join our vibrant rural primary school.  This is a permanent appointment teaching a mixed year Key Stage 2 Class.  This is an exciting opportunity for any practitioner seeking to work in a creative and supportive learning environment.  We are looking for someone to become a vital part of our school community, replacing a long-standing teacher who is relocating.  

•    Are you a highly motivated and skilled practitioner looking to lead and deliver an exciting and challenging curriculum in a mixed year group class? 
•    Can you significantly contribute towards our whole school development, particularly extending and promoting the development of writing, oracy and a love of reading; actively promoting subject development and improvement?  
•    Are you willing to take on subject leader responsibility?  
•    Can you undertake a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead role?
•    Are you a driven educator who engages in ongoing self-directed professional development and research, striving to make a lasting impact?
•    Do you build positive relationships with pupils, actively seeking ways to engage, inspire and motivate?

•    an outstanding practitioner with excellent subject knowledge, high academic expectations and a proven track record of improving learning outcomes; 
•    a teacher who actively seeks opportunities to improve outcomes through data analysis, tracking and target setting;
•    a highly motivated educator, who is driven to deliver an inspiring and exciting curriculum, relishing the opportunity to enhance and promote skills for life-long learning; 
•    QTS with experience in a senior teaching role who can demonstrate evidence of ongoing professional development (eg. completion of NPQ or engagement in professional learning networks);
•    commitment to ensure that every child reaches their full potential whilst feeling respected, valued and safe;
•    someone who can promote and secure equality for all pupils;
•    experience in teaching and supporting the wider development of children with SEND;
•    a well-organised, resourceful and proactive team member; 
•    a self-motivator, driven to improve in their teaching and subjects whilst contributing to whole school improvement and development;
•    commitment to the school’s learning culture and initiatives;
•    someone with experience in supporting the implementation of policies and/or wider school development;
•    flexibility, adaptability and excellent time management which is all essential for working effectively in a small school environment; 
•    an inspirational role model who is fully involved in our school community.

Be a qualified and experienced practitioner/ SENDCo, with the National Award for SEN
Coordination (or willingness to complete it within 3 years of appointment
Have experience of across year group planning and teaching.
Have experience of conducting training/leading Inset.
Be an excellent communicator committed to being part of an effective team within the whole school community
Set high expectations and have a commitment to challenging learners to achieve well
Be a passionate, caring and inspirational teacher
Be self-motivated and reliable
