The successful candidate will be responsible for the buildings and grounds of the school, liaising regularly with the Office Manager and Headteacher on all aspects of looking after the site, including the cleaning and cleaning staff.

As part of the role they will complete daily visual inspections to ensure the site is secure and safe with key holder responsibilities. Undertake routine maintenance, security, health and safety checks, and monitor contracts and contractors.

 The successful candidate will:
•    have good general DIY and handyperson skills and will be able to identify, monitor and carry out minor repairs and maintenance
•    have an understanding and awareness of COSHH and other relevant legislation in regards to Health & Safety
