We are looking for Three highly motivated, experienced and skilled Teaching Assistants to work in our school. These roles need someone who can support the class teacher and support children with additional needs/SEND 1:1 or in groups.

Applicants need to be qualified to Level 3 for both roles.

Dearham Primary School is excited to be launching after school care from September 2024, in addition to the ever popular Breakfast Club, which currently runs every morning. We are looking for a well-organised, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills. You will lead the after-school WRAP provision for 3–11 year-olds from 3:00pm - 5:30pm, each day.  You will liaise with the WRAP coordinator to provide high quality childcare and a range of suitable activities for the children accessing the club.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
•    To supervise the children’s collection to WRAP.
•    To plan and deliver activities.
•    To supervise children within the WRAP environment.
•    To serve drinks and snacks to all pupils.
•    To wipe up spillages, crumbs and keep the eating areas clean and tidy.
•    To encourage the use of good manners at all times.
•    To be aware of fire evacuation procedures.
•    To be familiar with the school’s Health & Safety Policy.
•    To maintain WRAP register.
•    To encourage active play sessions by organising/managing play resources.
•    To report any serious playground accidents to the Headteacher or a Senior Teacher.
•    To undertake training that may be required.
