The Governors of Black Combe Junior School wish to appoint a teaching assistant to join our enthusiastic and committed team.

The successful candidate will be required to work 24 hours 30 minutes each week (working pattern 5 mornings including lunchtime plus 1 afternoon) term time.  

The school has a number of senior teaching assistants (STA) who will be able to support the successful candidate.

 This post is ideal for someone at the start of their learning support career or new to KS2.    
This post is fixed term as it is maternity leave cover for a colleague who is planning to return to work December 2024.

We are looking for a Lesson Cover Supervisor to join our school.  The successful applicant will be required to cover short term planned and unplanned absence of teaching staff.  You will take sole charge of groups of students; no active teaching is required as students will learn by carrying out pre-prepared work under supervision.  The primary focus of this role will be to maintain good order and to keep students on task Support for the SEND Department and the team of Teaching Assistants will be required when not covering for teacher absence.
