Teacher  One-year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

The Local Governing Body of Ellenborough Academy invite applications from appropriately qualified teachers for this full-time post, teaching an Early Year class combined of Pre-School, Nursery and Reception and ideally the opportunity to lead Science in the school.  The post is offered from the start of the Spring term. The post is offered on a one-year fixed term contract due to maternity leave.

·    An excellent primary classroom practitioner with a deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum, assessment and pedagogy.

·    have experience of working within EYFS and ideally be ready to lead Science in our school.
·    be able to plan and deliver lessons that meet children’s individual needs and capture their interests in all areas of the EYFS curriculum 
·    have ambitious expectations of pupils’ work and behaviour, engendering respect through positive relationships and consistency
·    be a committed team member who will play an active part in the life of the school, engage positively with families and lead by example 
·    know how to keep our children protected, safe and provide an environment where they can thrive.
