About this
opportunity
We are looking for finance professionals (AAT or equivalent
experience) who possess strong technical and analytical skills
and are keen to make a significant contribution to shaping the
future of the Schools Finance Team and Cumberland.
You will be part of a team delivering a range of financial
support to maintained schools across Cumberland. Key
responsibilities will be to act a direct contract for schools to
support on queries, including reviewing school returns, cash flow
requests, budget reports, VAT, and processing transactions. You
will also support on grant allocations & statutory returns,
as well as the year end closedown process.

- Fully qualified member of the
Association of Accounting Technicians (or equivalent
qualification) or at least 3 years accountancy experience
- Attention to detail
- Good communications skills
- A positive can do attitude
- Someone who is driven, who would like to
grow and develop with the business to build a long-term
career.
